Press release (for now only in Danish)

Chr.

Volf færdedes i society-miljøet i Beverly Hills, og bl.a. hans bekendte,
og patienter, talte bl.a. komponisten Igor Stranvinsky og forfatteren
Aldous Huxley.
lydbehandlingsklinik i København.

men refererede omvendt heller
ikke til dem som rent kliniske eksperimenter
uden en vis kunsterisk kvallitet.

 BATCH TOTEM: {Rorscach_Test} | BIN DATA 00-12  ^
. ...

A simple Rorscach test, done with audio waveforms.

An orginal standard PCM WAVE file were created in mono, and then mirrored by
inversioninto a stereo file.

The file is constructed with frequency content at very high and low frequencies
+ extreme phase and DC changes, as to generate compression artefacts from
various codecs.
The orginal WAVE file is again mirrored by conversion into au, ogg-vorbis, OM,
Amiga, ADPCM and MP3 audio formats.
All conversions are done with the highest possible compression factor.

The conversions produce artefacts, and even seemlingly structual changes to
the original file.
Thus the compression codecs are used to genrate new timbres and content,
opossed to their intent of merely compressing data size.

1: Se Det I Øjnene[Censored] [08:00] MP3

Composed by Else Marie Pade 1970.
Narrated by Peter Steen.
Text by Orla Bundgaard Poulsen.

The composition is censored by the Danish Dacapo label, that orginally released it.
Thoughout the piece a voice is repeated saying 'Hitler er ikke død'
('Hitler is not dead')

The original piece ends by the voice saying 'Han lever videre i Nixon' ('He lives on in Nixon') - a reference to the Vietnam war.
On the Dacapo CD release, the ending is simply removed.
